LEWISTON — “Sports Concussions” is the subject of a Central Maine Medical Center Accenting Your Health presentation beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, in Classroom 4 at the Maine College of Health Professions, 70 Middle St., Lewiston.

Peter Sedgwick, M.D., a specialist in sports medicine, will define what a concussion is. He will discuss concussion prevention and management, and the short- and long-term consequences of such an injury.

There is no cost for the presentation.
