1945 – 2015

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Dexter Thomas Dunlop, 70, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 1, surrounded by his wife and children, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966, was a member of the Mid-Maine Motorcycle Club, and loved camping and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra L. Dunlop; his children, Jeffery (Kim) Dunlop, Lisa (Lynn) Rolfe and Melissa (Mychal Adams) Dunlop; his siblings, Donna Thompson, Mark Dunlop, Scott Dunlop and Jamie Moulton; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Dustin, Saige, Cora, Gavin and John.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dunlop and Hattie Thibodeau; and his brother, Billy Dunlop.
