1937 – 2015

LEWISTON — Deanna May Thomas, 78, a resident of John Murphy Homes in Lewiston, died on Friday, Sept. 25, at her home surrounded by her loving nurses.

She was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Fletcher A. and Bessie May Rafuse Hamon Thomas. Deanna lived with her parents in Madison when she was younger and had been a resident of Green Acres, Bolster Heights, d’Youville and had been at John Murphy Homes since 2011. Deanna loved to go shopping and going to McDonald’s to get happy meals for the toys. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was a collector of many items, some being stuffed animals, purses, necklaces and baby dolls. She was a member of the Twarog Senior Program. She is survived by her many friends at the John Murphy Homes and her friends in the Twarog Senior Program.

She was predeceased by her father and mother.
