ELLIOTT — Leon W. “Junior” Jr., 75, of Skowhegan and formerly of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, at his residence in Skowhegan. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston. MARSH — Jack M., 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 14, while visiting his daughter in Sparks, Nev. Per Jack’s request, there will be no service. He found a perfect spot in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, near Lake Tahoe, where his family will scatter his ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his wish was for everyone to be kind to others.

OUELLETTE — James Sheldon, 47, a resident of Jay, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. ROY — Fernande “Fern,” of Fairfield, Conn., passed away suddenly Thursday, Oct. 1, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. ST. AMAND — James John, 34, of Auburn died Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Auburn.
