This is in response to an Associated Press article in the Sun Journal Oct. 9: “Experts: Clean power available, if it can be brought to New England.”
The power the article refers to is hydro power from Canada. But clean power already exists, in abundance, just off the Maine coast.
Why are we waiting for the hydro power from Canada when the potential in the wind near the Maine coast is sufficient to generate all the electricity we now use, plus a surplus to sell to Boston?
