TURNER — School Administrative District 52 Adult & Community Education, 486 Turner Center Road, has announced its fall classes beginning the weeks of Nov. 16 and 23.
Sea Glass Necklace: Discover the secrets to drilling glass, stones and shells. Add colorful beads and spirals using wire-wrapped techniques to create your own unique jewelry. Use the collection of sea glass, beach stones and shells provided, or bring your own favorites.
Past Life Regression: By exploring your past, you can better understand your present. The instructor uses hypnotic techniques to create a very relaxed trance state, guiding you on a journey through space and time. You may recall events of this lifetime or others. Come with an open mind, leaving your expectations behind. You determine the authenticity of your experience. Bring a beach chair or sleeping bag and one or two pillows.
Snowmobile Safety: Learn how to properly operate and maintain a snowmobile. Laws, responsibilities and personal safety will also be covered. Passage of a final exam is required. Students younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Substitute Training: This class will be held Nov. 24. Learn about school expectations, teacher’s lesson plans and assertive discipline. It’s one step in the substitute teacher application process for the District. A high school diploma is required, college degree preferred.
