NEWRY – Sunday River Ski Resort will present Leland Faulkner’s World of Wonder on Tuesday, Dec. 27, and the side-splitting comedy juggling trio, Fusion on Thursday, Dec. 29, as the Black Diamond Family Entertainment Series kicks off its new season.

Faulkner explores characters, magic, and stories from all over the globe. Paper becomes filled with movement as butterflies dance and multiply; shadows take on a life of their own in an imaginative exploration of light. His use of visual effects and story gives creative perspective to the ancient art of the actor, mime and magician.

Fusion is Jason Tardy, Michael Miclon and Matthew Tardy, who mix all elements of theater from physical comedy, acrobatics, contortion, juggling and everything in between to create a performance that leaves audiences breathless.

Both shows are at 7 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel at Sunday River Ski Resort. Tickets for these family events are $4 for children (6-12) and adults, $6 in advance or $6 and $8 at the door.
