FREEPORT – Holiday shoppers will be treated to a display of lights and sculpture designed for the L.L. Bean flagship store by artist Pandora LaCasse. LaCasse’s display includes 51 colorful sculptures varying in size from four-foot to 18-inch forms. The lighted spheres are suspended along Main Street and in trees outside the L.L.Bean Store, while others float on water features near the store’s entrances. LaCasse’s distinctive works of art have been exhibited in various Portland locations since 1999, but this is the first time her sculptures are on display in Freeport. The light display will run through January. FMI: 1-800-559-0747, ext. 37222.
