AUBURN — The National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals has selected Crystal Marchessault, CPA, of Austin Associates, PA, CPAs in Auburn, as one of the 2015 “Top 10 Public Accounting Professional Rising Stars” in Maine.
The award is designed to recognize outstanding public accounting professionals who have been practicing for less than 15 years.
Marchessault has been in public accounting since 2006, and with Austin Associates since 2009. Her areas of expertise include audits and reviews along with other management consulting services for a variety of entities, including construction and not-for-profit organizations.
Marchessault received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine. She has been a certified public accountant since 2008. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In the community, Marchessault is actively engaged with the Auburn Business Association, the Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area, the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Cycling Club.
