MONMOUTH — Theater at Monmouth will be holding auditions for 2016 performances.

To be considered auditions, headshots and resumes should be emailed by Tuesday, Dec. 1, to [email protected]. Applicants should indicate preferred location for audition.

TAM will hold its annual summer company auditions in Maine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, in Cumston Hall, 796 Main St.

TAM will also hold auditions for non-AEA performers in New York on Friday, Jan. 8. Resumes must demonstrate experience in Shakespeare and Children’s Theatre.

The 2016 Summer Season includes Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” directed by Dawn McAndrews and “Henry V,” directed by Joseph Discher; Beaumarchais’ “Barber of Seville,” directed by Matthew Arbour; Tony Kushner’s adaptation of Pierre Corneille’s “The Illusion,” directed by Davis Robinson, Jo Roet’s adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s “Cyrano,” directed by Tess Van Horn, and “The Master Cat” or “Puss in Boots,” directed by Stacey Koloski.

Each actor in the summer company plays three or four roles; all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory. The summer season, which runs from June 7 through Aug. 21, operates on an LOA to LORT contract with Actors’ Equity and union rules will be followed for Equity and non-Equity actors. Internships are also available.

TAM’s summer season is a true ensemble of more than 50 theatre artists from all over the country.  Rehearsals take place in the theater’s newly renovated Grange Hall. A complete performance schedule is available online at www.theateratmonmouth.org
