BETHEL — The Mahoosuc Community Band will have its annual Christmas concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at the West Parish Congregational Church.

The concert is filled with traditional favorites and newer melodies. There are new songs this Christmas season: “A Longford Legend,” a collection of Irish ballads by Robert Sheldon, “A Winter’s Carol,” arranged by Mark Williams and “A Festival Prelude” by Alfred Reed.

The band will also play familiar favorites from “A Christmas Festival,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” and “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”

Leroy Anderson will give sleigh rides. Refreshments will follow the concert and allow for visiting with the musicians.
