1940 – 2015

AUBURN — Sandra Lee (Park) Kempf, 75, a resident of Hartford died on Friday, Nov. 27, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.

She was born March 20, 1940, in Medford, Mass., the daughter of Edward Park and Elva (Mason) Park. She was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School. She married William Dickie and had four children, Linda, Alan, Colleen and Troy. Sandra Lee worked as a certified nurse’s aide for Androscoggin Home health for the past 20 years. On Sept. 19, 1981, in Peru, she married her husband of 34 years, Ira Kempf and they made their home in Hartford. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower gardens. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ira Kempf of Hartford; her son, Troy Dickie and his wife, Sandra, of Turner; daughters, Colleen Child and her husband, Jeffrey, of Leeds, and Linda Autry and her companion, Donald Keene, of Jay; stepdaughter, Kim Ann Thies of Manheim, Germany; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; and her sister, Beverly Park of Northfield, N.H.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Alan Dickie in 2003; and her sisters, Roberta Snow, Hazel Hodge and Joyce LeFave.
