Works by painters Pamela Hetherly and Julianne Garvey are on display at the Central Maine Medical Center Woman’s Hospital Association Rotating Art Gallery through the end of December. A self-described “representational painter,” Hetherly studied in Italy at the Jerusalem Studio School in Civita Castellana. A graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Garvey gained exposure to art history in college and enjoyed “complete freedom in the studio.” Some of the works on display at CMMC may be purchased through the WHA Gift Shop, located adjacent to the Main Lobby.
