NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has announced events for January 2016.
The center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. It is located at 199 Main St. It has a library, pamphlets and comfort items. Activities are scheduled at the center (unless otherwise noted), which are free to people impacted by cancer.
Women’s Cancer Support Group: Noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5. FMI: 207-744-6173.
Coloring for Adults: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays.
Stamping Up with Kathy: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan 7.
Visual Journaling with Peter Herley: 10 a.m. to noon Fridays, Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29.
Community Cancer Cut & Sew at Sew Orchid Design: 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, Jan. 13 and 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 316 Main St.
Beading Project at Lively Accents: 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at 310 Main St.
Mary Kay Spa Party with Foot Wrap: 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22. RSVP: 207-890-0226.

In case of bad weather, activities are cancelled if SAD 17 cancels classes.
