RUMFORD — The Community Safety Group of the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative and Behavioral Health and Community Engagement groups will screen the documentary “Paper Tigers” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in Mountain Valley High School’s Muskie Auditorium.

The film will air at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, if school is canceled.

“Paper Tigers” documents how a high school in Washington state adopted more restorative practices to help its students overcome their own traumatic experiences. The film digs into adverse childhood experiences and documents how struggling teens were able to transform their lives.

A discussion will follow the film’s screening.

The Community Safety Group also plans to host showings in the Bethel, Fryeburg and Oxford Hills areas. Visit the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative’s Facebook Page for information on future showings.
