PARIS — According to scanner-traffic a tractor-trailer truck jack-knifed at the intersection of Paris Hill Road and Route 26 at 11:40 a.m. Friday in slippery road conditions.

The wreck involved five cars and the road was closed as Paris police and fire departments responded.

One person with a possible injury was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, and later transferred to Maine Medical Center, according to dispatch radio traffic.

The road was reopened at 12:51 p.m.
