RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Citizens are planning two trips in the spring.

Members will car pool for a trip to Jillson’s Farm, Sabattus, on Wednesday, March 23.

They will take a day trip to see “Stars on Ice” in Portland on Sunday, April 17. They will eat at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in South Portland prior to the 4 p.m. show.

Cost of the trip is $60 for members and $70 for others, to be paid at the time of sign-up. Reservations are due by Tuesday, March 1. There must be 40 signed up in order to hold the trip.

A bus will pick up trip-goers at the old Peru School. Call 207-562-7700 for pick-up time. Business hours for the Senior Citizens are 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Bingo is played at 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and there are usually two luncheons a month, to be announced.
