PARIS — Paris selectmen have narrowed down town manager candidates. During their executive session Friday, Feb. 12, Paris selectmen whittled down town manager applicants to three candidates, Chairman Mike Risica said. The town received 28 applications for its top spot.

Selectmen gave Interim Town Manager Sawin Millet a block of time during the first week of March to schedule the candidates’ first interviews with the board, Risica said.

Selectmen hired Millett, a resident of Waterford and longtime politician, in December 2015 to serve during the transition after then-Town Manager Amy Bernard put in her notice. She left Paris to become Newry’s town manager.
