The derby will begin at 6 a.m., and weigh-ins will end at 1 p.m. No live or frozen fish will be accepted. There will be adult and youth categories for brook trout, brown trout, largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.
A Free Learn to Fish clinic will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., run by department staff and volunteers.
Prizes and raffle will include an ice auger, traps, tents and jet sled.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to benefit scholarships for campers at Camp North Woods.
