1931 – 2016

LEWISTON — Roger R. Moreau, 84, of Lewiston passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, with his family by his side.

Born in Lewiston on Dec. 29, 1931, to Adelard and Matilda Moreau. He attended Lewiston schools. On Sept. 2, 1950, he married Anita Bolduc. Together, they raised two children, R. Michael and Debra.

He worked many years as a machinist in the shoe industry, latest being Pamco.

Roger enjoyed working with his hands, building and gardening. He loved talking to people and telling stories to his grandchildren. He was an animal-lover; he and his poodle, Emma, were inseparable.

Survivors include wife, Anita; son, Mike and wife, Anita, of Auburn; Debbie and husband, Buzz, of Poland; two sisters, Rita Janelle of Lewiston and Pat and husband, Donald, of California; six grandchildren, André, Jessica, Jennifer, Trisha, Marissa and Brian; eight great-grandchildren, Sam, Hunter, AJ, Dakota, Gabe, Auston, Emma and Bryce.

Roger was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Robert, Bert and Don; and one sister, Maria Sarto.
