1929 – 2016

AUBURN — Margaret C. Guild, 86, a lifelong resident of Livermore, passed away peacefully with her sons by her side, Sunday, Feb. 28, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

She was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Livermore, the daughter of Fred S. Cram and Olive (Norton) Cram. Margaret was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On July 4, 1948, at Livermore Falls Baptist Church, she married Richard Guild. He passed away May 24, 1998. Margaret worked throughout the years at the Livermore Falls High School cafeteria. Margaret enjoyed helping her elderly neighbors and friends to get to their appointments. She also volunteered for the Rural Community Action Ministry clothing bank in Leeds. She enjoyed going to yard sales, camping and trips. She was devoted to her family and community and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her sons and their wives, Gordon and Renda Guild of Livermore, and Keith and Debbie Guild of Scarborough; eight grandchildren, Stacy and Tony Vavrek of Virginia, Jerri and John Ryder of France, Keith Michael Guild of Colorado, Heidi and Scott Day of Turner, Marcus Guild of California, Justin and Kullen Gill of California, Ben Guild and companion, Stephanie Cote of Livermore, and Kelly Norris of Westbrook; her sister, Rosanna White of Livermore; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Richard Guild; her two sons, Duane Guild in 1962 and Daniel Guild in 1977; and her brother, Sherman Cram.
