AUBURN — The Auburn Recreation Department has listed its upcoming trips for seniors:

Walking in the Ingersoll Turf Facility: 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Ingersoll Turf Facility will be open for one hour of walking and socializing. Cost is $1.

Line Dancing: 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays, March 3 to May 27. Line dancing will be taught by instructor Rina, who has 11 years of experience. This introductory course will teach participants the Arizona Freeze, Cowboy Boogie, Boot Scootin’ Boogie, Cowboy Charleston and other dances. Comfortable clothing and athletic footwear is recommended. Cost is $3 per person.

Pineland Farms Market & Cheese Factory trip: Tuesday, April 12. Attendees will go on a tour of the creamery, shop and have lunch in the Farm Market on their own. Van leaves Pettengill Park at 9 a.m. Tour begins at 10 a.m. Lunch at the Farm Market is at 11:30 a.m. Van will return by 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older are welcome. Cost is $10 and includes tour. 

The Lorraine Ouellette Trio: Friday, June 10. There will be a trip to the Sawyer Foundation in Greene to see The Lorraine Ouellette Trio. The group has been playing a combination of country, French, polka and cajun music for more than a decade. Performance is at 2 p.m. Space is limited, and registration is required. Van leaves Pettengill Park at 11:30 a.m. and will return by 4 p.m. Attendees will be responsible for lunch at Hurricane’s Café & Deli at noon. Cost is $5. There is no charge for the performance.

SNAFU! Comedy: Friday, June 24. There will be a trip to the Sawyer Foundation in Greene to see SNAFU! Comedy. Although created locally, Maine residents Michael Menes and Leland Faulkner have already toured internationally as the opening act of the Shanghai International Comedy Festival. The two conspire together to bring to life Murphy’s Law: What can go wrong, will go wrong. These “Masters of the Ridiculous” will explore a collection of comedic props, physical gags and imaginative illusions. Suitable for all ages, the performance also includes hand shadows, juggling acts and audience participation as well. Performance is at 2 p.m. Those interested should register in advance in the senior citizens office at the Auburn Recreation Department. Space is limited. Van leaves Pettengill Park at 11:30 a.m. Attendees will be responsible for lunch at Hurricane’s Café & Deli at noon. Return by 4 p.m. Cost is $5. There is no charge for the performance.

Songo River Queen trip including lunch: Thursday, July 21. Bus leaves Pettengill Park at 10:30 a.m. Lunch of Italian sandwiches, chips and drink will be served on board. The cost for First Auburn Senior Citizens members is $25. For nonmembers, cost is $35. Includes lunch. First Auburn Senior Citizens will pay for the bus. Registration may be done in advance in the senior citizens office in Pettengill Park. Space is limited. Bus will stop at Gifford’s Ice Cream on the way back for an ice cream at the attendee’s expense. Bus will return around 3:30 p.m.
