PARIS — Peter Kukielski, author of “Roses Without Chemicals,” will be the Wednesday, March 23 speaker for the McLaughlin Garden lecture series.
Kukielski served as curator of the Peggy Rockefeller rose garden at the New York Botanical Garden. He now lives in Maine and is leading trials of Earth-Kind roses. He is a nationally recognized authority on roses.
Kukielski will bring copies of his book for anyone who wishes to purchase a copy.
Tea will be served beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the lecture scheduled at 4 p.m. It will be held upstairs in the historic Tribou home at 97 Main St., Paris, where Bernard McLaughlin lived with his wife. Both tea and the lecture are free and open to the public although donations are requested for the preservation of the buildings and garden. The garden’s gift shop will be open.
