1942 – 2016
LEWISTON — Paul Labbe, 73, of Livermore passed away peacefully in Lewiston on Thursday, March 10, after a long battle with luekemia.
Born in Lewiston on July 17, 1942, he was the son of Adrian and Cecile Trembley Labbe. Educated in local schools, Paul was an avid hockey player. He joined the army after graduating high school and served with the special forces of the 101st Airborne Division. He worked at UPS for 36 years, and retired with 3 million miles and the Safe Driving Award.
He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Dot; a son, Fred Labbe and wife, Patty; a daughter, Kelle Labbe; a granddaughter, Gema, whom he adored dearly; stepchildren, Dan Tetreault and wife, Melissa, and Terri Deschaine and husband, Ross; a brother, Maurice and his wife, Doreen; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
