NEW SHARON — Cape Cod Hill School staff and students met mud season with grace by dressing in their finest clothes on March 30.

The gym was transformed into a fine-dining experience, with the fluorescent lights dimmed to create a restaurant atmosphere.

Students sat for lunch with their classmates and teachers at tables donned with white linen, floral arrangements and napkin-wrapped utensils. The decor was accented by flickering candle light.

Lori Lewis of Western Maine Play Museum played relaxing tunes on the harp as the diners ate chicken nuggets.

Principal Paine served cartons of milk.
