When I heard of the recent vandalizing of the Simard-Payne Memorial Park that honors two fallen heroes, I was both saddened and angered.
Should the individual(s) responsible for that awful misdeed be apprehended, I would recommend punishment to the fullest extent of the law.
Those two men died while serving and protecting the good people of Lewiston.
