On Mother’s Day, May 8, the “Parade” issue that comes with the Sun Journal had a lead story about a woman, Lori Alf, who has been cured of multiple myeloma. Cheers to her and her courage to try an unknown therapy. I was delighted to hear of her recovery, yet saddened because I lost my mom to multiple myeloma eight years ago.

Here is hoping that many more patients of that awful cancer will be cured; and hoping that the treatment works for other cancers, as well.
