1928 – 2016

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — Bertrand Poirier died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 20 in the care of Maggie’s Hospice while at New Horizons Care Home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., at the age of 88.

A long-time resident of Auburn, he moved to Arizona in June 2014 to be nearer to family.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine Dube Poirier of Prescott Valley; his only daughter, Linda Poirier Fuegen (Larry) of Prescott; one grandson, Brad (Shauna’h) Fuegen of North Yarmouth; twin great-grandsons, Will and Andrew; one granddaughter, Stacy (Ernesto) Ramirez Fuegen; and great-grandson, Calixto of Los Angeles. He is also survived by his only sister, Henrietta Poirier Leblond of Auburn.
