Volunteers to post grave flags
LEWISTON — L/A Veterans Council members are seeking volunteers to place more than 5,000 flags on veterans’ graves in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Volunteers should meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Mausoleum on Switzerland Road.
Robin Dow Seniors to meet
AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens met May 11 the regular meeting with 32 members present.
The meeting was conducted by Vice President Sally Gagnon. Chaplain Pat Donohue gave an opening prayer. A new member Tina Roberts was welcomed.
Members will attend a cook out sponsored by Schooner Estates on Wednesday, June 8. Tickets are on sale at meetings through Carol Lepage.
Attendance winners were Janis Brackenbury and David Lepage; blue ticket winners, Lucy Cowles, Delores Danforth and Lorelei Fyfe; white, Bea Brooks, Paula Mikkelson and Bruce Macomber; and red, Al Strout, Bruce Macomber and Sally Gagnon.
The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25. New members may join the club and take part in activities.

Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on May 16 were as follows: first, Nancy Lindgren and Tom Goodwin; second, Paul Clement and Roger Labbe; third, Jan and Vern Arey; and fourth, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.
Winners on May 17 were, first, Mike Quinn and Mike True; second, Nancy
Farmer and Roger Labbe; third, Marta Clements and Claire Lyons; and fourth,
Richard Balian and Paul Clement.
Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room
at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.
