Presenters will include Peter Driscoll and representatives from Amistad, Maine’s leading agency for mental health peer services.
The discussion series is part of the new integrated primary care partnership between Tri-County and the medical practices of Rumford Hospital Primary Care, which includes Swift River Family Medicine, Elsemore Dixfield Family Medicine and River Valley Internal Medicine. The Integrated Primary Care Project is a three-year initiative funded by the Maine Health Access Foundation. The goal is to meet everyone’s mental health as well as physical health needs by offering medical and counseling services in the same location, allowing doctors, nurses and counselors to work together more seamlessly and to enhance access to services.
Integrated services are available at Swift River Family Medicine, River Valley Internal Medicine and Elsemore Dixfield Family Medicine. For more information about the project, visit www.tcmhs.org.
