SOUTH PARIS — Janice Rosenberg, 91, passed peacefully at her home in South Paris on Friday, June 10.

She was born Janice Eloise Corbett on March 15, 1925, to Linwood and Ernestine Maxim Corbett. She attended schools in South Paris and graduated from Paris High School in 1943. She married Veikko Haverinen in 1944 and together they had three children. Following Veikko’s death in 1960, Janice married Jack Rosenberg in 1964. Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a very special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Janice is survived by her husband, Jack Rosenberg; son, Daniel Haverinen and wife, Julie; daughter, Mary Wall and husband, Doug; grandsons, Sam (Michelle) Haverinen, Jesse (Rebecca) Wall, and Cody (Kelly) Wall; step-grandchildren, Matt Daniel, Mark Daniel (Karen Cesare), and Georgia (Jon) Pruiksma; great-granddaughter, Novelle Wall; another great-grandchild expected in October; step-great-grandchildren, Luke, Ian, Elizabeth, Ann Marie and Jameson; sisters, Melva Simmons and Leone (John) Callina; and many special nieces and nephews.

Janice was predeceased by her first husband, Veikko Haverinen; daughter, Sharon Gibson; parents, Linwood and Ernestine Corbett; sisters, Phyllis Whitney and Grace Eileen Corbett; and brother, Erwin Corbett. Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
