BANGOR — Reducing predation is the topic of a free public presentation for small and backyard poultry flock owners from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Penobscot County office, 307 Maine Ave.
Information on predator identification, preventative measures, minimizing impact and legal options of predator management will be included in the program.
UMaine Extension and USDA Wildlife Services in Augusta are sponsors for the event.
