GARDINER – The R&B Dance Company, founded by Elizabeth Blake and Rachel Waterbury, will wrap up its second summer session with a dance concert Saturday, Aug. 28.

Titled “That’s just me, I’m…” the program will begin at 7 p.m. at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St.

With pieces titled “a little left of classic,” “backwards” and “unbreakable,” the concert explores what it means to be a unique individual.

Company members participating in the show are Chelsea Adkins, Diana Blake, Alexis Bell Gleason, Cheyenne Haley, Shaunyce King Johnson, Alex Laflamme, Katherine Landry, Alyssa Miner, Kayla Pleau, Miriam Webber.

Blake and Waterbury opened R&B Dance Company in June and offer classes in modern, jazz, hip-hop, ballet and lyrical dance. Call 621-4943 for more information.
