WILTON — Wilton Recreation Department is gearing up to offer a variety of programs this summer.
Sign-ups for the summer swim program will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 20 and 21 in the main lodge at Kineowatha Park. Lessons begin June 22.
Swim lessons for ages 3 and older will take place Monday through Thursday from June 22 to August 4. Cost is $40 for residents and $50 for nonresidents.
Registrations for summer tennis lessons for children ages 6 to 10 and 11 to 15 will be offered on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays in two different sessions, from July 6-15 and July 18-29. Ages 11 to 15, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; Ages 6 to 10, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Cost is $30 for residents, $35 for nonresidents.
Sign-ups for various summer camps will happen at the same time.
Summer camps offered:
* Fit Girls for those entering grades four through six. This is offered from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 18 to 22 at no cost. Call 207-645-9648 to sign up.
* Field hockey for those entering grades two through six. Offered 5 to 6:30 p.m. July 25 to 28. Cost is $20 for residents, $25 for nonresidents.
* Challenger Soccer Camp for grades one to eight and ages 3 to 5. Offered July 11 to 15. Registration available online or by calling the Recreation Department. Cost is $133 for older resident youths; $138 for older non-resident youths; $73 for younger resident youths; $79 for non-resident youths.
* Boys Basketball for those entering grades three to eight. Offered July 25 to 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. Cost is $30 for residents, $35 for nonresidents.
* Girls Basketball for those entering grades three to eight. Offered July 25 to 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $30 for residents, $35 for nonresidents.
* Co-Ed Summer Soccer for those entering grades one to six. Offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. August 15 to 18. Cost is $25 for residents, $30 for nonresidents.
* Spirit Camp for ages 5 to 10. Offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 to 15. Cost is $200. Call 207-680-6942 to register.
Lunches will be available at Kineowatha Park from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 27 to Aug. 4. The meals are free of charge to those 18 and younger. Adults pay $3. Lunches must be eaten on the premises.
