1920 – 2016
LEWISTON — Doris May Soucier, 96, of Auburn died Wednesday, June 15, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born April 16, 1920, a daughter of Harry Edward and Nettie May (Edson) Kimball.
Doris enjoyed hand sewing; she made hundreds of pillows, shirts and pants; making her own headbands, going to yard sales, collecting knickknacks, photos, dolls and stuffed animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and lastly receiving hugs and attention from those she loved.
Doris is survived by her two daughters, Sheila Small and Judy Gorneau; her sisters, Alfreda Seally and Muriel Brine; and her brother, William Kimball. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Greg McLoughlin, Sheryl Kennedy, Kevin McLoughlin, Tracie Vye and Theresa Martin; as well as 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Harry Kimball; mother, Nettie Edson; sister, Phyllis Saucier; brother, Harry Kimball Jr.; sister, Hazel Parlin; sister Mryna Benoit; and her son Paul (Sonny) Saucier.
