PORTLAND – PCA Great Performances will present “Blue’s Clues Live! Blue’s Birthday Party” at Merrill Auditorium. There will be four shows: at 2 and 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, and at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10. Tickets are on sale now.

The show is a colorful, live stage adaptation of “Blue’s Clues,” the hit Nick Jr. TV show for children.

It features familiar songs, a fun story line and characters children love. “Blue’s Birthday Party” includes Blue’s friends, Magenta, Periwinkle, Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, and Joe. Blue’s friends search for clues to discover what Blue wants for her birthday.

The live theatrical presentation transforms the television show by challenging kids’ imaginations and senses. “Blue’s Birthday Party” invites kids to be entertained while enjoying audience interaction. Each child attending the show will receive a free notebook and crayon to follow along as Joe finds Blue’s clues.
