AUBURN — United Methodist Church of Auburn’s Vacation Bible School will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, July 18 to 22, at 439 Park Ave.

The theme is Surf Shack. Children will ride the waves of God’s love through art projects, songs, stories and snacks.

It is open to children ages 4 through completion of grade four. The Service Squad mission program is for youths in grade five through eight.

BETHEL — Gardening for Jesus Vacation Bible School will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, July 25 to 29, at 786 Intervale Road.

Children will make illustrated garden books, adding uniquely designed pages at each session, build their own planter and sow their own seeds.

AUBURN — God’s Plan Vacation Bible School will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 1 to 5, at New Life Stevens Mills Church, 57 Manley Road.

It will discuss how God made everything and what happened after everything was made.

There will be games, music, snacks and crafts for 5- to 10-year-olds.

STRONG — The Strong United Methodist Church will host a blast from the past Vacation Bible School from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 1 to 5.

The school is geared for children ages 3 to 13. Teens are encouraged to volunteer and help out in classroom activities.

Classes will include songs, Bible stories, games, movies, snacks, arts and science projects.

RUMFORD — The Holy Savior Parish is registering children in grades kindergarten through six for its Vacation Bible School.

The theme is Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus. Children will explore where Jesus walked, where they walk today, how he prayed quietly and with others, the many ways people are invited to a church building and the Christian symbols it holds. There will also be singing and crafts.

The school will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. Monday through Friday, Aug. 8 to 12.

A donation of $12 per child is requested upon registration.
