1951 – 2016

SABATTUS — Karen Ilene Holbrook, of Sabattus went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 26, at Marshwood Care Facility in Lewiston, following a long battle with cancer.

Karen was born to Harold N. and Madelyn K. Bullock of Gardiner. She graduated from Gardiner High School in 1969.

Karen leaves behind her husband of 24 years, Andrew J. Holbrook of Sabattus; her brother, Warren Bullock of Randolph; her son, Eric Rowe and his wife, Laurel; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hope; grandson, Kael Ericson of Farmingdale; and ex-husband, Stanley Rowe of Vasselboro.

She loved to write, animals, trees, the study of insects, the outdoors, crafts and art.
