The Sandy River 3 will perform a free outdoor concert on the Saturday, Aug. 13, on the lawn behind Mosher’s Meats And Seafood, 595 Farmington Falls Road (Route 2), Farmington, from 4 to 7 p.m. The concert features a wide array of music, including, but not limited to,  bluegrass, country, hillbilly  rock. Stan Keach (guitar), Bud Godsoe (banjo and Dobro) and Julie Davenport (upright bass), comprise the trio,  which is known for soaring vocal harmonies and for Godsoe’s virtuoso instrumental stylings. The trio performs original material and covers. Keach will play the musical saw on at least one number.  Young musical phenom Lee Stetson will perform some numbers with the trio and will play between the trio’s sets.
