LEWISTON – Oxford Networks announces that Bob Cook has celebrated his 30th year of employment with the company. He works in the Lewiston headquarters.
Cook, who serves as the facilities, fleet and safety manager, started with the company in 1978 as an installation and repair technician.
Cook serves as vice president of the New England Chapter of Independent Telephone Pioneers Association, and is a board member of the Downeast Chapter of ITPA. He is active in the Telephone Association of Maine, serving on the Joint Provisioning Committee, and the Telephone Association of New England, serving as the past chairman of the Network Operations Committee.
He is also a mason and a past master of the Timothy Chase Lodge in Belfast.
Originally from Belfast, Cook lives in Winthrop.
