First off, I have been listed as an independent on the voting rolls for more than 30 years. The reason being, I became disillusioned with the way politicians carry on in the U.S. Congress. I have always voted for the person I thought most qualified, regardless of their party affiliation.
That said, as upset with the politicians as I am, my brain has not become addled that I would “shoot myself in the foot” and vote for Donald Trump, a man who I think has no scruples and no integrity, as witnessed by his multiple bankruptcies and his failure to pay for services he received. He is vindictive, mean-spirited and seemingly shows no empathy for anyone except, perhaps, himself.
Almost every time he opens his mouth, out comes lies or he is bad-mouthing someone, or both.
In summary, I am baffled that he has so many supporters. Unreal.
