1926 – 2016

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Ann Tisdale Buettner, 90, of Pittsburgh, Pa., died Friday, July 1.

She was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Lansing, Mich., to parents Harden and Grace (Stewart) Tisdale.

She volunteered at the Auburn Public Library, Maine Democratic Party and Theater at Monmouth.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, swimming, dog ownership, and her self-designed silkscreen Christmas cards.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dennett and Andrea Buettner; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Buettner in June 2011.
