RUMFORD – Mountain Valley Taxi Service, a new cab service for the Rumford and Mexico area, will also offer service into Bethel. The Bethel service will be available seven days a week, and the cab has a specially-designed ski/snowboard rack.

The cab service is part of a joint venture of the Bean family, which also owns and operates the Mexico Laundromat at the Mexico Plaza and the Bethel Laundromat on Railroad Street in Bethel.

To celebrate there will be a holiday open house at the Mexico Laundromat on Dec. 14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Food and door prizes will be combined with other offers.
