LEWISTON — The community is invited to participate in the French sing-along session at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the University of Southern Maine Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.

Les Troubadours will lead attendees in singing a selection of local Franco favorites.

Songbooks are provided so those not familiar with the songs or who aren’t fluent in French can follow along.

The sing-along was organized in 2010 by the Maine Folque Co-op in collaboration with USM-LAC’s Franco-American Collection.
