Antiques and Collectibles Show
LIVERMORE — The Livermore Falls Women’s Club Antiques and Collectibles Show will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Livermore Community Center.
The club is looking for individuals who have antiques, vintage items or collectibles to sell. Due to limited space, only table-top items should be displayed.
This event is a fundraiser to help support the many charities that the Women’s Club aids.

Softball tournament for breast cancer
RUMFORD — The second annual Breast Cancer Co-Ed Softball Tournament will be Saturday, Sept. 17, at the softball fields.
Teams must have at least two female players on the field.
The cost is $200 per team. Proceeds will benefit breast cancer research.
There will be 50/50 raffle and raffles for giveaways. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.

Slugger to visit Bridgton
BRIDGTON — Area families will have the chance to meet Portland Sea Dogs’ mascot Slugger at the Free Family Field Day.
The event will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Harmon Field on Route 302. The rain date is Sept. 24.
The event will include food, refreshments, kickball at 2:15 p.m., and a group picture with Slugger at 3 p.m. on home plate.

Children’s cancer benefit walk
RUMFORD — A walk to benefit Maine Children’s Cancer Program will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Hosmer Field Complex.
Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m.
Those who raise at least $25 will receive a T-shirt designed by children at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

Weary Club to meet
NORWAY — Members of The Weary Club will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
