RUMFORD – The River Valley Technology Center, the River Valley Growth Council and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce will present another Business Lunch and Learn opportunity, “Understanding Cash Flow,” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., April 16, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

The cost is $10 and includes lunch. River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay $8. Pre-payment is required; there will be no refunds issued. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling Beverly at 369-0396, or e-mail [email protected] by April 14.

The 3-hour workshop will cover the basic components of financial statements and the inter-relationship of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements.

The presenter is Rose Creps, a business counselor with the Maine Small Business Development Center at AVCOG. Creps has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in global business administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She previously worked as a financial consultant and an accounting manager for both small and large firms in Maine.
