NORWAY – The American Diabetes Associate Education Recognition Certificate for a quality diabetes self-management education program was recently awarded to Stephens Memorial Hospital and its Diabetes Self-Management Education Program.

M. Patricia Cook, senior vice president-clinical, Doreen Taylor, RN, diabetes nurse educator, and Patricia Watson, dietitian, accepted the award on behalf of the hospital.

The ADA’s Education Recognition Certificate assures that the hospital’s educational program meets the national standards for diabetes self-management education programs.
