1939 – 2016

AUGUSTA — John W. “Jack” Sadler, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Veterans’ Administration Medical and Regional Office Center at Togus, following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 2, 1939, a son of the late George P. and Mercedes (Gillen) Sadler. He was a graduate of Cony High School and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen and Diana; and a sister, Joan Thibodeau of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and George Sadler.
