Christmas Tooth Angels Dec. 6
FARMINGTON — The first annual Christmas Tooth Angels program will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 444 Wilton Road.
Farmington Oral & Facial Surgery will provide free extraction services for people who are in need of an extraction and who do not have dental insurance.
Applications will be accepted Tuesday to Friday, Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, at 444 Wilton Road. Those who meet the requirements for free service will be contacted to set up an appointment. Appointment times are limited, so signing up early is suggested.

AMVETS Children Christmas Party
JAY — AMVETS of Jay will hold its annual children’s Christmas party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
The party will include a cake walk, games, prizes and a visit from Santa Claus at noon.

Pierce House Holiday Open House
FARMINGTON — The Pierce House will hold the 27th annual Holiday Open House from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, during Farmington’s annual Chester Greenwood Day celebration.
The open house celebrates Chester and Isabel Greenwood’s connection to The Farmington Home for Aged People Inc. in 1905.
Old-fashioned refreshments will be served, including hot chocolate, popcorn balls, fruit, peppermint sticks and more.
Greenwood memorabilia will be on display. A basket will be set up to collect toys for children, and cookie decorating will take place in the dining room.

Christmas at the Mason House
BETHEL — The Bethel Historical Society’s annual old-fashioned Christmas open house will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the historic Dr. Moses Mason House on the corner of Broad and Mason streets.
Decorated in traditional 19th-century style and lit by candles, the first floor period rooms in Bethel Hill’s oldest surviving home will be open to the public from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Visitors will be able to step back in time as they enjoy old-style refreshments in the formal dining room. Harp music will be performed in the parlor by Conni St. Pierre.
The event is free, but donations will be accepted.

Legion Post 24 Christmas Party
RUMFORD — Auxiliary Post 24, American Legion, will host the annual Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Social hour will be held at 5 p.m. with a ham dinner at 6 p.m. Music will be provided by Don and Noel.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Post on Congress Street.
Jones Dance Band at Masonic Hall
BUCKFIELD — A dance with music by Jones Dance Band will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 31 at the Buckfield Masonic Hall, 5 High St.

Knitting guild Christmas party
HEBRON — Western Maine Knitting Guild will have its Christmas party at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Pat Valeriani’s home in Hebron.
A potluck luncheon will be followed by an exchange of gifts. Gifts should be kept under $5.
Those who would like to carpool may meet at 9:45 a.m. at First Congregational Church.
