LEWISTON – The Maine Women’s Network is offering a program, “Business Lending – What’s Involved,” on Oct. 31 at The Carriage House, 1119 Lisbon St.

Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. with the formal program and lunch to follow at noon. The program will conclude at 1 p.m.

The speaker is Gregory Gould of AVCOG, who will explain what the process is, what the sources are and what information needs to be lined up before seeking funding. The program is intended for those just getting started in a small business, for officials of a medium-size business looking to expand, and for business professionals who want to better educate clients.
